Scrubba-Dub-Dub

Originally written Monday January 21:

I mentioned in an earlier post about the process of washing the dishes. We have only enough dishes for one meal, so I go through this procedure once or twice a day. This works out because if we had more dishes our sink would be too small, making the job more complex. Being a teacher who loves procedures, I thought I would make a short entry with pictures just for fun!

1. Wipe and rinse the dirty dishes in the sink under cold water. Set in drain rack.

2. Clean the sink of all the food debris.

3. Add the hot water with a little soap into the "portable" sink.

4. Dilute with some cold water because as I hope can be seen in the picture, the water is VERY hot and steamy, perfect for squeaky clean dishes!

5. Put some soap on the cloth and brush. Scrubba-dub-dub.

6. Lay the soapy dishes in the drain rack.

7. Rinse with cold water and replace into drain rack.

8. Voila!! Ready to eat on again!
